Over 85 businesses are preparing their exhibitions...

...for Cornwall Business Fair - the successful annual business to business event run by Cornwall Chamber of Commerce.

Held on Wednesday 13th May 2015 at the Eden Project, the Fair – which is the centrepiece of Cornwall Business Week, will attract representatives from Cornwall’s thriving business community as well as those working outside of the county with an interest in the opportunities here.

Co-founder of Eden, Sir Tim Smit KBE will open the event and give a presentation at Cornwall Chamber of Commerce’s May breakfast.

The main stage will feature presentations from international businessman Sir John Banham; founder of London’s premier networking club, Tanya Mann Rennick and President of the British Chambers of Commerce, Nora Senior.

Delegates attending the Celebration Lunch can enjoy fantastic Eden sharing platters, a Rock Samphire gin taster and a presentation from Lord Robin Teverson.

A Cornish language debate will take place at 3.15pm; top branding and language professionals will discuss the place of our native dialect in the branding of Cornwall-based companies.

In addition to the 85 stands the Core building boasts a networking space, a Business Zone and a Twitter wall, plus the Lightning stage featuring short presentations from local businesses. A free networking app is offered to all delegates to ensure they get the most possible out of the event.

Kim Conchie, Chief Executive of Cornwall Chamber of Commerce said: “We are very excited about this event and it continues to grow; our breakfast and lunch events are already fully booked and every day we are inundated with requests for more stands.

“The venue is fantastic and I can’t wait to see how it all looks – the vibrant colours and interesting building are sure to get the creative juices flowing and make for fantastic networking and ideas sharing.”

Visitors at the show who have pre-registered via the website are in with the chance of winning dinner for two at Paul Ainsworth’s No.6 restaurant in Padstow. Other prizes available to win on the day include a weekend for two in London and a half day workshop with guest speaker Tanya Mann Rennick.

The event is free to attend and for one day only that includes free entry to the biomes. It’s free to park and there’s even a free cream tea at 4pm courtesy of Rodda’s.
