We've always taught by people...

... that are living. People that are there right infront of us - but hardly ever do we celebrate the life lessons of those that have lived before us - and who probably experienced a lot in their life. This post is to celebrate the lives of these people, and to help show some of the life lessons we can learn from them.

Steve Jobs

Steve Jobs(Steve Jobs unveiling a new iPhone)

Steve Jobs was the CEO of Apple and he was the main reason for it's success and such global domination today. He pushed innovation and creation - and is a massive inspiration to many people.

One of the key points to learn from him would be not to learn just in classrooms or learning programs. Expand your mind with life experiences and experience the world. You should absorb culture, art and history. In order for creativity to flourish, you need to experience life - and apply it to your work.

He also proved to us not to be afraid to challenge others. This means, not being driven by playing nice - but to be direct and upfront with people and how you're feeling. You should be honest; and not beat around the bush. Push to achieve the goals that you want.

Have a passion for what you do. If you haven't got a passion, you will not put 100% - you need to LEARN to LOVE what you do.

John Lennon

John Lennon was an inspiration to musicians and a world renowned peace activist. He was a part of the British group, The Beatles. His life is a testament to everything we need to learn ourselves.

Money isn't everything. You shouldn't get your life sucked up by trying to figure out how to make your next quick pound - because there is always guaranteed a void that is still going to be there. Push for happiness and not fame, or fortune.

Marilyn Monroe

Marilyn Monroe

Marilyn Monroe had a hugely successful life - and had some amazing quotes too - to make reference to.

"Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius and it’s better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring."

The most important thing is to be yourself and learn to love yourself.

“Keep smiling, because life is a beautiful thing and there’s so much to smile about.”

This quote hits us hard. You should ALWAYS smile, because things aren't as bad as they seem. It's so easy to get stuck in a dark, black hole, when there's so much in the world to smile about.
